It started simple, 

I missed the first snow in 2022.

But it's not just about the snow.

There were many things 

I've let slip away, untold.

Snow is just one of them.

In Canada, 

where snow never ends,

Can I make amends for the first snow?

A question lingers in this cold air,

Can you keep the snow?

The pursuit of holding onto vanishing moments is rooted in a primal fear: acknowledging life's fleeting nature means confronting our lack of control of human fate.  Historically, humans demonstrated a strong desire to seize the fleeting moment to preserve a state of an ephemeral phenomenon. This project documented a ritual that seals snow into a resin block to resist its temporal nature and turn it into something permanent and collectible. While seemingly absurd, these endeavors mirror a deep-seated yearning to reclaim what is irretrievably lost.
